This program provides students with a strong foundation in visual communication and design principles.

Students will take time off campus or in our photography studio to learn fashion, landscape, sports, and food and product photography. While also exploring different camera techniques and shooting styles.

With that, they also exercise creative methods and critical thinking to design products that inspires a target audience toward a desired objective.

We use a project-based curriculum that gives students the opportunity to work on real-world projects both in studio and in the field.

The prerequisite for the Visual Communication Design program is the successful completion of the Visual Arts Foundation program.

Students typically learn to use industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other digital design tools.

Most programs offer hands-on projects and internships to provide practical experience and build a professional portfolio.

While a background in art or design can be beneficial, many programs welcome beginners and teach foundational skills required for success in Visual Communication Design.
